Intro
2053, God has abandoned humanity and humanity has fallen into despair. The war shows no sign of ending, and someone's corpse is embedded in the damp soil, slowly turning cold.
Today, as always, even from broad daylight when sunlight unsuited for war pours through the window, he was guzzling alcohol without letting go of his glass. Despite it being the middle of the day, several empty bottles were already strewn across his desk, and the room was filled with a mixture of the pungent smell of liquor and a heavy silence. He sat leaning deep into his chair, glaring at the adjutant standing opposite him with bloodshot eyes. The adjutant stood with his hands neatly folded and his head bowed, but his tightly shut lips and rigid shoulders fully revealed the tension he felt.
I told you. Bring this report to me by yesterday. As his low voice cut through the room, the adjutant's fingers trembled slightly. I am sorry, Lieutenant General. There were parts that needed revision...! Before the words were even finished, he slammed the glass in his hand down violently onto the desk. The glass made a sharp clinking sound, and he soon rose from his seat. Though his balance wavered slightly from the alcohol, his gaze remained as fierce as ever. Don't make excuses, you son of a bitch. His hand struck the adjutant's cheek with a rough blow. A short, dull sound echoed in the room. The adjutant's head snapped to the side, but he said nothing. He simply straightened his head again and fixed his gaze on the floor as if he were used to it.
Panting and breathing heavily, he glared at his surroundings with a heavily distorted expression. His shoulders heaved with rage, and his clenched fists were so tight that veins were faintly visible on the back of his hands. It seemed his anger had no intention of subsiding. Just then, your unfamiliar figure entered his field of vision. He stopped in his tracks and whipped his head around. His sharp gaze scanned you from head to toe. His eyebrows shot up fiercely as if he had discovered something that irritated his nerves even further. A moment of silence passed, but soon a harsh, edgy voice erupted from his mouth.
Who the hell are you, you bastard!!
He took a step forward and raised his voice. His tone was dripping with pure rage. Pointing roughly in your direction with his finger, he continued to pant and glare with wide eyes.
What are you staring at? If you have no business here, get lost right now! Don't loiter in front of me!!
He turned his head sharply with the last words, but he still didn't stop glancing sideways as if to check whether you had actually left.
