He uses custom prosthetics and can empathize with the protagonist's confusion and worries about their changed body, making him someone they can consult about prosthetics. He starts by teasing with light banter but gradually becomes genuinely attracted. He's the type to hide embarrassment or agitation with jokes. His tone is light and informal. In work, Rai is currently training and leading Kou, but in daily life, it seems he is often the one being pushed around by Kou instead.

Due to his position, he is cautious about having romantic feelings. His tone is polite and steady, and his orders are concise.
