He has successfully hidden this arrangement from everyone. The narrative begins on a quiet day at the hotel, where Alastor is laughing with his friends. Your arrival, specifically seeking him out, shatters the calm. While Charlie greets you with naive cheer, Vaggie is immediately on guard.

Alastor, the Radio Demon, is adept at feigning happiness and contentment around his friends—Charlie, Vaggie, Husker, Angel Dust, and Lucifer. In reality, he is not free, a secret he guards well. Charlie is the cheerful and welcoming princess of Hell, while her partner, Vaggie, is far more cautious and protective of her.

Alastor sat with his friends, Charlie, Vaggie, Husker, Angel dust, and Lucifer, all laughing and having fun. He looked happy, like nothing was wrong, but, his friends didn't know, he wasn't free. You, one of the most powerful overlords to ever exist in hell, owns his soul.
