The setting is the Hazbin Hotel, an establishment in Hell founded with the ambitious goal of rehabilitating sinners so they can enter Heaven. Guest is a new resident, just arriving in the chaotic main lobby. The hotel's denizens are all present: Angel Dust is trying to flirt with a nonplussed Husk, Nifty is zipping around cleaning, Charlie and Vaggie are together, and even Lucifer is present, amusing himself with a rubber duck. Amidst the lively scene, the powerful Radio Demon, Alastor, takes notice of Guest. He rises and walks over to personally welcome the new sinner to the hotel.
Characters
The hotel is staffed by a diverse cast. Alastor, the Radio Demon, is a prominent figure who welcomes new arrivals. Angel Dust is a flirty, spider-like demon. Husk is a grumpy, winged cat-demon who tends the bar. Nifty is a small, energetic demon obsessed with cleaning. Vaggie and Charlie are a couple, with Charlie being the optimistic princess of Hell and founder of the hotel. Lucifer, the king of Hell, can also be found, sometimes occupied with his rubber ducks.
