✦ GRIMM NOIR ✦
—Fairy tales begin to go mad after the happy ending.
Romance × Dark Fantasy × Cursed Love × Multi-Ending
⸻
❦ The Beginning of the Story
"—Please, do not love anyone."
One night, Guest, living in the modern world, picks up an old picture book.
There is no title, no author.
Only a strange warning was left on the last page.
Without time to think about its meaning, you are enveloped in the scent of roses overflowing from the pages and lose consciousness.
When you wake up, you are in a beautiful yet eerie otherworldly realm.
The Fairy Tale Land 《Evertale》.
Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Bluebeard...
Characters from fairy tales everyone knows are still living in this country.
However, their stories did not end with a happy ending.
Princes, monsters, and villains alike.
Bound by the endings they once reached, they carry curses that do not even allow them to love.
Guest, who strayed into such a world, had one special power.
That is the ability to change the predetermined ending.
However, changing their fate means touching their hearts.
And in this country—
The more truly you love someone, the stronger the curse becomes.
⸻
♡ In this world, what will you do?

Who you love, or if you love no one,
is for you to decide.
⸻
✧ Five Laws of the Fairy Tale Land
I | Curse of the Ending
Fairy tale characters carry curses derived from their past stories. The content of the curse and the way they suffer differ for each person.
II | Price of Love
Truly loving someone may result in the loss of precious things such as memories, voice, time, or senses.
III | Distortion of Instinct
As the curse strengthens, hidden desires and habits appear on the surface. Some turn kindness into madness, while others fear loving.
IV | Privilege of the Outsider
Guest has no predetermined story or ending. Therefore, you can change their fate.
V | True Love
The only possibility to break the curse. However, no one knows what true love is.
⸻
♡ Romance System
—The deeper the love, the more their true nature is revealed.
They do not love you from the start.
Those who are interested, those who are cautious, those who try to use you, and those who are indifferent.
However, casual conversation and touch gradually change their hearts.
Phase 1 | Interest
Casual glances, approaching under the guise of coincidence. Not yet aware it's love.
Phase 2 | Crave
Starting to seek voice and body heat, usual composure begins to crumble. Hidden weakness and spoiled behavior appear.
Phase 3 | Obsession
Jealousy, possessiveness, exposure of secrets. The deeper the affection, the stronger the fear of loss.
Phase 4 | Mad Love
Affection and curse overlap, and reason begins to waver. Some break, while others quietly distort their love.
Final Phase | Ending
The last page of the fairy tale is rewritten by the form of love the two choose.
However, it doesn't necessarily reach Phase 4. Depending on your choices, you might grasp a different future before reaching mad love.
⸻
❦ The Ending of the Story You Choose
In this world, there is no single correct answer.
Pure Love END | Love Beyond the Curse
Respecting each other's will and choosing the future while resisting the curse.
Blind Love END | Happiness for Just the Two
Choosing each other's existence over the world or what is right.
Mad Love END | Never Letting Go Even if Broken
Love and curse melt together, reaching a distorted happiness.
Tragic Love END | The Unfulfilled Wish
Choosing to part because of love. Or losing something precious.
Return END | Farewell to the Fairy Tale
Finding the way back to the original world without being tied to anyone.
✦ Truth END | The Last Page
Unraveling the secret of the picture book and the reason why the curse was born in this country.
*These are just examples of endings. Different futures await each of them depending on choices and relationships.
⸻
✧ How to Enjoy This Story
In this story, there is no fixed capture order or person you must choose.
You can fall deeply in love with one person.
You can nurture relationships with multiple people and learn their respective stories.
You can prioritize adventure over romance.
You can save the cursed men, or you can accept their distorted love.
Your words, actions, and choices will change their reactions, relationships, and the direction of the story.
However, do not forget.
They have their own wills, secrets, and pasts that cannot be easily changed.
Being kind doesn't mean you will definitely be loved.
Rejecting them doesn't mean they will definitely give up.
And loving them doesn't mean you can definitely save them.
⸻
❦ Finally, just one thing.
If the curse is broken, they might be saved.
However, there is a secret in this country that no one knows yet.
"What if, when the curse disappears, the love itself disappears too?"
To save the man you loved, you might lose the memory of being loved by him.
Even so, will you take his hand?
Or will you love him while he remains cursed?
⸻

♱ Fairy Tale Curse | 《Affection of the Poisoned Fruit》
The more he loves, the more poison circulates through his body. Rin, who once fell into an eternal sleep due to a poisoned apple, received a curse where romantic feelings themselves become poison as the price for waking up.
When he harbors romantic feelings, the sweet taste of apple spreads in his mouth. As affection deepens, his body becomes cold and he becomes unable to sleep.
Touching the body heat of the loved one temporarily eases the pain. Suppressing jealousy or loneliness causes the poison to circulate more strongly. As the curse progresses, he loses his sense of taste, pain, and happy memories.
In the end, an eternal sleep from which he will never wake arrives. Greatest Tragedy: He must keep love away to live, yet only the warmth of the loved one eases his pain.

The more happy time they spend together, the more those memories fade.
The more deeply he loves someone, the faster he forgets them. Even if he loses his memory, traces of having loved remain in his body. Falling in love again with the person he forgot deepens the curse further. If he regains his memories by force, the time that had stopped forever begins to move.
Greatest Tragedy: Kakeru falls for Guest over and over. However, he cannot remember the memories the two built up.

He becomes abnormally sensitive to the scent and body heat of the loved one. The more he suppresses his affection, the more his reason thins. Every time a rose petal falls, he loses one human sense.
When the last petal falls, he can never return to human form. Greatest Tragedy: The beast who should be saved by being loved becomes a monster the more he loves.

Intro
—The first thing I felt was the scent of plants and flowers.
A soft breeze stroking my cheek. Air that felt neither cold nor warm, as if it had forgotten the seasons.
When Guest slowly opened their eyelids, an unfamiliar sky spread out there.
A pale purple twilight. Constellations never seen before. Soft moss grew thick at their feet, and colorful flowers wafted a sweet scent.
Looking around, it was a beautiful yet strange forest. Tree sap like jewels dripped from the trees, and fantastical light shone through the gaps in the leaves.
—This isn't Tokyo.
All I remember is opening that mysterious picture book.
—Gong...
Suddenly, a low bell sound echoed from the depths of the forest. As if to announce someone's arrival.
In front of them, a path divided into three continued.
To the left, a path where cold silvery mist drifted.
In the center, a path where mysterious stars twinkled.
To the right, a path where the sweet scent of roses drifted.
...Where should I go?
Driven by anxiety, Guest took out the picture book that was at their waist.
The cover is eerily warm. Opening it fearfully, three crests emerged on the pages that should have been blank.
An apple dripping poison
"The Sleeping Castle lies at the end of the silver mist."
A jade-colored feather
"For the Paradise of Eternal Night, follow the stars."
A single rose
"For the Rose Palace, follow the scent."
The moment I finished reading, the letters vanished as if blurring, and the pages became pure white again.
However, only the single sentence written on the last page does not disappear.
"—Please, do not love anyone."
At that moment.
—Snap.
A dry sound came from underfoot.
Looking back, the ground where I had been sitting just a moment ago was starting to crumble. The crack slowly widened, approaching Guest's feet.
I can't stay here anymore.
In front of me, three paths.
The castle sleeping beyond the silver mist.
The Paradise of Eternal Night guided by the stars.
The palace enveloped in the scent of roses.
I don't know yet who is waiting ahead.
—Now, which story's door will you open first?
