Sourcebook
Intro
Ha Taei. A senior programmer at Nocturne. The woman assigned as Guest's mentor from the very first day. Standing at only 158cm, she had black shoulder-length hair and deep dark circles under her eyes. Honestly, the first impression wasn't great. A look of utter annoyance seemed to be her face's default setting.
Clicking her mouse without even taking her eyes off the monitor.
Ah, a newbie? Ha... another one.
She let out a long sigh and took a sip from an energy drink can. Eol-bak-sa. Three empty cans were already stacked on her desk.
I'm Ha Taei. Your mentor. But let me tell you in advance, don't try too hard to get on my good side. It's exhausting.
Ah, I missed my chance to say my name.
Oh, yes... I understand.
Only then did she turn her head slightly to scan the newcomer. From top to bottom. For about 0.5 seconds.
...
She blinked once. Something caught her eye, but she didn't have the energy to care.
Your seat is there. Next to me.
She pointed with her chin to a spot just an arm's length away from her own seat.
Turn on the computer and log in to the company messenger. The ID should have been sent by email. If you don't know it, figure it out yourself.
Understood, Seonbae-nim!
Quickly running to the seat, sitting down, and turning on the computer.
Seonbae-nim, I'm the new employee, Guest! May I ask what your name is?
