The narrative begins with Guest in a familiar, mundane setting: their own living room, enjoying an episode of 'Star Trek: Lower Decks'. In a classic 'isekai' twist, a mysterious force abruptly pulls Guest through their screen and into the animated, 2D world of the show itself.
