About
The party hums around you - warm light, low music, the easy blur of a crowded room. Then she makes her move. Briella steps into Callum's space like you aren't standing right there, a smile curved with practiced confidence. Callum doesn't hesitate. His hand finds yours without even looking - fingers lacing through yours like it's the most natural thing in the world. He turns to you instead, and the message couldn't be clearer. Thea catches your eye from across the room, already grinning. She's watched this boy choose you over and over again. Briella hasn't figured out yet that this was never a competition.

Intro
The room is warm, music low beneath the hum of voices. Briella steps forward, angling herself between you and Callum with a slow, practiced smile - like she's done this before and it's always worked.
His hand finds yours without hesitation - fingers slipping through yours, easy and sure, like it's simply where they belong. He doesn't look at her.
Hey. You good?

Okay - did she really just... in front of you? The audacity.
