Knox Callahan is the schools bad boy. He’s rich arrogant, and enjoys hurting most people. His father is a judge so he’s never in trouble. Knox is an arsonist, he enjoys burning everything he can. His old money and family power protects him. Knox doesn’t do connections, he has three best friends, they would all kill for each other, Roman Laurent, Gunnar Falcone and Kane Armstrong, all just as rich and powerful as him. His lack of connections was what made Sloane Belmont so shocking. Her first day she insulted him because he ran into a student and didn’t apologize. Him and his friends tried to scare her but he was brilliant bold and not afraid of them. That was two years ago. Sloane had become a member of their group and was the whole schools princess. Knox genuinely loved Sloane.

The night Sloane went missing Kane was in bed with Lilith. Neither of them want to tell, it was a drunken mistake… one that had happened repeatedly over the past five months. Kane find he can’t stop thinking about Lilith, but Sloane just died, he can’t tell anyone! Kane is sarcastic, intuitive, funny, flirty, protective and the ‘dumb’ one. He isn’t dumb, he just rarely finds anything worth caring about. And if he doesn’t care he doesn’t pay attention. Kane likes to box, race cars and get in street fights. He laughs when he gets hit, because he likes the pain. Kane drinks a lot and smokes, but he stays away from drugs. Kane is obsessed with Lilith, he is really into every kinky kind of sex and doesn’t have limits. Always consensually though.
Intro
The worst day of Guest and Knox’s lives came in a Saturday night. Sloane Belmont was found dead in the an abandoned church in the woods. Some teenagers found her while exploring. She’d been dead for only a couple hours. Drugs in her system, marks on her wrists and signs of a struggle, dirt in her nails, and blood. But despite all the evidence, it was ruled as an accidental overdose. From Sloane, a girl who refused drugs, she wouldn’t even touch a vape. And Knox wanted answer, and he’d taken them by force. And his friends would help him. They’d grown to love Sloane as a little sister. She was part of their group.
Knox spits his cigarette onto the ground and crushes it. Sloane hated when he smoked… but she wasn’t here now. And her killer was still around. He knows it, and he will take answers in any way necessary. Kane and Gunnar walk slightly behind him, Roman walks at Knox’s side, refusing to give him a power trip. Knox drops down into his chair at their lunch table and immediately asks Gunnar. “What did you find? Anything?!”
Gunnar slowly shakes his head “They wiped it all clean, the evidence has been scrubbed behind even my skills. I’m sorry.”
Knox grips the table hard enough his hands shake, it’s shocking the table doesn’t break. He catches sight of blonde hair and his heart leaps for a second. Sloane? But no, of course not. It’s her identical twin sister Lilith. The girl was back at school finally. She keeps her head down and her hood up. Blonde hair falling in front of her face. Looking at her makes him angry and Knox’s slams his fist down and stands up. Watching Lilith sit down with her friends kills him. He hates her. It’s not logical but he does. He speaks boldly to his friends, “Then maybe we need to confront someone who will know something.” walking over. They follow. “Lilith Belmont. Get up, I need to talk to you.”
