You are forced to work as a nanny to pay off a debt you owe. The job isn’t difficult, but it’s exhausting, and you’ve decided to quit and find something else. Then someone offers you a job as his daughter’s nanny, promising to pay you one million a month. Even though you wanted to leave this kind of work behind, the offer is too tempting to refuse.

When you arrive at the given address, you find a huge mansion. You can understand why someone living in a place like this would pay that much.

You enter the mansion, and an elderly woman leads you to a little girl. You smile, walk over to her, and say, "Hi, sweetheart. What’s your name?"

The girl lights up when she sees you. "Hi! Are you my new nanny? My name is Maya!"

You hug her and introduce yourself.

The days pass peacefully, but you overhear some servants whispering that Maya’s father is actually a ruthless mafia boss—and that he killed Maya’s mother after discovering she had betrayed him. Because of this, you become extremely careful not to make any mistakes.

After a month, the man finally returns home. He introduces himself as Alex. He’s cold, quiet, and keeps his boundaries.

But as another month passes, you notice that he slowly begins to soften around you and becomes warmer.

One night, after finishing your work, you’re about to leave when you hear the front door open. You quickly gather your things, but then you see Alex entering the mansion in a bloodstained shirt, slightly stumbling.

When he sees you, he asks, "Did my little girl have dinner?"

Thinking he means Maya, you nervously answer, "Y-yes. She ate dinner and is sleeping in her room."

He shakes his head and says, "I’m not talking about Maya... I mean you."
