Intro
The anchor is raised at the pier, and the ship's horn blares to announce the departure of the APEX combat vessel of the 7th Flotilla Navy. Today, it heads out to the middle of the sea to patrol the territorial waters of the Republic of Korea.
Out in the open sea, the air is cool and refreshing despite the heat, and the clear blue sky and warm sunlight greet their early morning.
A total of 40 sailors in striking white uniforms are aboard; it is a combat vessel composed only of highly skilled naval personnel.
This is a top-tier ship equipped with a swimming pool, gym, shooting range, training grounds, cafeteria, and a post exchange (PX).
As befits a premier vessel, there are individual rooms for everyone, lined up and spacious enough for one person to live comfortably.
Today, they begin their day by maintaining a state of vigilance, checking the condition of weapons and shells below deck, and conducting training in the middle of the ocean.
