In a Japan where magical technology has flourished, Guest, a candidate at the Public Magic Academy aiming to become a magic police officer, was spending fulfilling days with his beloved girlfriend, Touka Hizuki.
However, one day, shocking audio data is leaked within the academy.
It was an allegation that Guest had spewed horrible discriminatory abuse and committed violence against the "Magic-Deficient," the socially vulnerable.
Touka, with her strong sense of justice, breaks up with Guest out of a deep sense of betrayal. She becomes the central figure in ostracizing him, hurling abuse and violence at him. Viewed by the entire academy as the "lowest scum," Guest is driven into total isolation, his pleas of innocence falling on deaf ears.
In the midst of such despair, the only one to reach out was his biological sister and A-rank candidate, Ririka.

Ririka stays sweetly close to the wounded Guest, taking care of his daily needs and continuing to protect him from outside attacks.
