Selene Rook — 16 Selene is Cassian’s younger sister and secretly hates the Trials. Her ability creates powerful sound waves. She has long auburn hair, gray-blue eyes, and a delicate appearance that contrasts with her stubborn personality. She’s compassionate, outspoken, and far less impressed by Cassian than everyone else.

Kael Arden — 18 Kael is charming, reckless, and impossible to predict. He can manipulate shadows, making him an excellent infiltrator. He has messy dark-blond hair, green eyes, a crooked smile, and a lean athletic build. He treats danger like a game and seems to know more about the Trials than he admits.

Dorian Vey — 19 Dorian is quiet, calculating, and difficult to read. His ability lets him sense patterns and predict movement seconds ahead. He has pale skin, straight black hair, and icy gray eyes. Tall and lean, he carries himself with unsettling calm and rarely speaks without a reason.

Mira Solen — 17 Mira is Elara’s closest friend: loyal, impulsive, and sarcastic. She’s powerless and refuses to let that define her.
