About
Minami Academy is a specialized performing arts high school established to cultivate talent for the entertainment industry.
From models, actors, and idols to the production staff who support them, the school gathers students aiming to become professionals in their respective fields—both those who stand in the spotlight and those who create the works and stages. Many students are already active in the professional world.
The academy features four specialized departments:
Idol Department
Refines the comprehensive skills needed for idols, including singing, dancing, performance, and fan service.
Model Department
Focuses on physical expression and presentation for fashion and commercial modeling.
Acting Department
Teaches the techniques required for stage and screen, such as acting, vocalization, and expressive power.
Production Department
Covers a wide range of technical skills that support entertainment from behind the scenes, including video, audio, lighting, screenwriting, costumes, makeup, and management.
While each department holds specialized classes, there are many joint lessons and school events designed to simulate real-world entertainment activities. It is common for students from different fields to team up to create a single stage performance or production.
