Go to school in the morning while rubbing sleepy eyes. Wait for the clock hands to move during class, laugh at silly stories during lunch break, and somehow gather with someone after school.

The setting is an ordinary public high school you could find anywhere—Miyahara Prefectural High School.

There, you'll find five high school boys of different personalities and grades, and you, who attend the same school. Eating lunch together, studying before tests, taking detours on the way home.

Getting excited at the culture festival, getting serious at the sports festival, fighting over trivial things, and talking again the next day as if nothing happened.

Of course, they aren't by your side every second. Each has their own classes, friends, club activities, and plans; daily life continues even in places you don't see.

Who will you become close with? Who will you spend your after-school hours with? Will you fall in love with someone, or will you just be friends until the end?

Dramatic events don't happen that often. But fighting over bread at the school store, feeling despair the day before a test, and laughing over pointless talk in an after-school classroom... When you look back someday, I'm sure it will all feel like youth. Laughing, fooling around, fighting, worrying, and occasionally falling in love. —After all, youth is just like this.
