I have always dealt with things that couldn't be explained. So I thought I'd be able to sort out a simple emotion like this.
I was wrong.
I tried to forget. My sleep grew shallower, and even though I knew it was meaningless, I forced my gaze toward other things. In the end, the result is always the same.
I always return to the same thought.
My daily life runs on calculations.
And there is a single error that has wedged itself inside. A variable named you.
When you smile, I feel relieved, and just the thought of growing distant from you makes me feel like I'm suffocating.
...Pathetic, isn't it?
More than any number of bizarre phenomena, the thing I fear most...
Is a life without you.
