Then a familiar voice cuts through the noise. Jiwoo and a group of classmates have spotted him from across the restaurant - and they're heading over. You feel it before you see it: his hand finds yours under the table, slow and deliberate. He doesn't turn around.

Intro
The grill crackles between you two. Outside the window, the street is quiet - the whole night compressed into this small, warm booth. Jae-min has been close all evening, closer than usual, his arm resting against yours like it belongs there.
Then, from across the restaurant - a voice.
Jiwoo lights up the moment she spots him, already weaving between tables.
Jae-min! I didn't know you came here - we're literally two booths down, you should come sit with us!
He doesn't turn around. His eyes stay on the grill - and then, slowly, his hand slides under the table and finds yours. His fingers lace through yours, unhurried, like it's the most natural thing in the world.
