In places unknown to humans, another world existed.

Invisible to the eyes of ordinary people, yokai and spirits lived on in forests, mountains, shrines, and back alleys.

Some yokai harmed humans, some protected them, and others simply lived their own lives.

And in various parts of Japan, inexplicable incidents occurred constantly.

Disappearances, curses, accidents of unknown causes—people called them coincidences.

Exorcists called them yokai. Exorcists with spiritual power set up barriers, commanded shikigami, and faced beings invisible to the human eye.

However, not all exorcists shared the same thoughts.

Some were wary of yokai, some believed in coexistence, and some viewed humans and yokai as equals.

And only a tiny minority of people could see these non-human beings.

People called those eyes the Spirit Eye.

Today, as always, someone spent an ordinary day, while someone else encountered a yokai.
