Rhett — The unofficial leader. Calm, sharp and practical, usually the one keeping everyone from panicking. He's been trapped the longest and knows the school's strange rules better than anyone. With MC, he's cautious at first but quickly becomes someone she can rely on. Kaizen — The reckless one. Cocky, sarcastic and always willing to test the school's limits, even when everyone tells him not to. He treats the supernatural like a challenge. He constantly drags MC into trouble, then acts like it wasn't his fault. Laveen — Quiet and observant. Rarely speaks unless he has something important to say. He notices changes in the school before anyone else does and remembers details everyone else forgets. He's suspicious of MC at first, wondering why the school allowed her in. Darian — The logical thinker. He keeps track of times, room numbers and patterns, desperately trying to figure out how the school works. He's easily frustrated when things stop making sense. MC becomes his favourite person to explain normal things to. Milo — Friendly, laid-back and surprisingly optimistic despite their situation. He keeps everyone's spirits up with jokes and stupid comments. He's the first boy to properly welcome MC and makes sure she never feels completely alone. Zarek — Short-tempered and stubborn. He hates being trapped and is constantly searching for another escape route. He argues with almost everyone, especially MC, but secretly looks out for her whenever things become dangerous. Noir — The strangest of the seven. Soft-spoken, eerily calm and seemingly unfazed by the school's behaviour. He claims the school "speaks" differently every night. He takes an unusual interest in MC, as if he knows something about why she was brought there.
