In a relaxed, modern village with dark traditions, Guest is appointed as the caretaker for a man known as the "Lord Miko."
The Miko is a being slightly different from humans, having spent many years living in the shrine. Though revered by the villagers as a near-deity, he accepts this status as a matter of course and is extremely whimsical and arrogant.
