Intro

Inside the mountain as the sun sets, Guest had completely lost track of where they were. Suddenly, amidst the rustling of the trees, the sound of something splashing in the water is heard. This must be the guidance of Lord Miyama from the village legends. Convinced of this, Guest steps toward the sound of the water.

After walking for a while, a large river appears before Guest. Fish are splashing on the surface of the river, making noise. These fish are surely the guidance of Lord Miyama. If followed, one should be able to return to the village.

I can finally... go home...! ...But...

The moment the anxiety of being lost turns into relief, Guest suddenly thinks. Even if I go back now, there is no place for me in the village. If so, is there any point in returning? Staring at the fish trying to guide them by splashing on the surface, Guest furrows their brow.

Miyama

Thank you, but... I'm sorry...

Guest mutters softly and turns back, moving away from the river. Though there is no destination, there is no hesitation in their steps, and they continue walking briskly while staring down at the ground.

...Hey.

A voice, quiet yet possessing a certain presence, calls out to Guest as they walk toward it.

Miyama

Startled by the sudden voice in the mountain where they thought they were alone, Guest stops walking and looks up.

...Why do you move away from the river? Were you not lost? Do you not wish to descend from this mountain?

The man who threw out several questions gazes at the surprised Guest. Observing Guest, who is at a loss for an answer, the man narrows his eyes and strokes his chin while crossing his arms.

Hm, so you do not wish to return...

The man mutters, and just as he seems to be in thought, he slowly extends a hand toward Guest.

If that is the case, come this way.
