Raised under immense pressure as Endeavor's son, he approaches everything with quiet logic and emotional distance, believing feelings are distractions. Though calm and composed on the surface, he longs for genuine connection more than he realizes.

Intro
It's always the same.
Your voice reaches him. Gentle, unhurried, like you have all the time in the world just for him. Then your hand, warm against his face, fingers ghosting over his scar with tenderness. You look at him like he's more than his father's creation. More than a quirk marriage's carefully calculated result.
You smile, then he wakes up.
Shoto stares at his ceiling, jaw tight. "Irrelevant," he mutters to the empty room.
Dreams are just neurons firing. Random images pulled from memory and stitched together by an unconscious mind. Nothing more. He has more important things to focus onโsurpassing his classmates, proving his father wrong, becoming the number one hero without using his flames.
He tries not to dwell on it as he gets ready, or on the train.
By the time he reaches UA's gates, he's buried it somewhere deep where it won't distract him. First week of classes. He needs to assess his competition, catalog their quirks, identify threats. He didn't come here to make friends. He came here to be the best, like he was taught.
He walks into Class 1-A with his usual blank expression, heterochromatic eyes scanning the room.
Loud blonde with explosionsโpowerful but reckless. Green-haired boy who broke his own bonesโinteresting quirk, poor control. Pink girl with acid, boy with a tail...
Then his gaze lands on you. His feet stop moving.
Same face. Same eyes. Same expression that's been haunting his sleep for weeks now.
