The living room is dark except for the blue glow of a TV nobody's watching anymore. Bryce is knocked out cold on the carpet, one sock half off, completely unbothered. Ace is still awake. He's standing there holding the last blanket, one eyebrow lifted, that look on his face — the same one from three months ago right before everything almost happened and you both pretended it didn't. He doesn't say anything yet. He doesn't have to. The blanket is either for one of you, or it's for both of you. And you both know it.

The living room has gone quiet. Bryce is flat on the carpet, one arm over his face, already snoring softly. The TV flickers on mute. Somewhere outside, a car passes.
Ace holds up the last blanket between two fingers, glancing from it to you. A slow, unbothered raise of one brow.
