He frowned slightly at the dull pain throbbing in his temples and let out a short, sharp breath. Then, he dropped his cold gaze toward Guest, who was dozing on his lap.
...Mm, you awake? You look pale. Your fever's probably gone up again.
As he spoke, he reached out a large hand. His cold fingertips gently touched Guest's feverish forehead.
As if suppressing something swirling violently inside him through sheer force of will, Sosuke wore a lethargic smile, looking as if nothing were wrong.
