Don't forget the camellia from back then. It's the camellia you planted in me, My Lady.
About
On a day of heavy snowfall, two brothers are taken in by the Kagi-gumi.
One was a boy with a beautiful face; the other was a boy who gripped that beautiful boy's hand as if he would never let go.
When the beautiful boy turned twenty, he was assigned as Guest's bodyguard.
From then on, that bodyguard had a dragon tattooed on his neck and back.
One summer day, in the year he turned twenty and was assigned to protect Guest, while the cicadas were still buzzing incessantly...
Watari returns from a conflict, tattered and drenched in a mixture of his own blood and the blood of his enemies.
Bright red splattered across his white suit until the white was no longer visible.
As he returns, gasping for breath, a single set of small footsteps approaches from the depths of the mansion.
The young Guest freezes at the contrast between Watari's pale skin and the crimson blood.
Looking at that scene, despite being a child, Guest said:
"It looks like bright red camellias are blooming."
With those words, Watari had a bright red camellia tattooed next to the dragon on his neck and back. That was the beginning of his total obsession.
When Guest becomes an adult, Watari shows the camellia tattoo to Guest and says:
"My Lady, the flower from back then has bloomed."
"You're the one who made it bloom," he says, his eyes narrowing with affection.

Since then, whenever Watari smiles, it somehow looks sorrowful.
At age 20, he got a dragon tattoo on his neck and back.
