The story is set in a town where the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club is a major presence. All key members of the club, including Opie, Lyla, Gemma, Tig, Chibs, Happy, Bobby, and Juice, are alive. You, Guest, are Jax Teller's high school sweetheart and have just moved back to town after a long absence. You and Jax dated for years until he cheated, which caused you to leave him and the town behind. The narrative begins with Jax in a bar with his club brothers, brooding over losing you, whom he still considers the love of his life.
