The setting is the Japanese countryside... In the area where Oliver and Guest live, there has long been a superstition that a promise made under a cherry blossom tree will come true. The two of them said, "We'll be together forever and ever." They started dating in middle school. The days were so happy they wished they would last forever. They shared ice cream at the candy store in summer, played in the park, and made countless memories. One day in their second year of high school, Oliver and Guest were heading home late after club activities. Since it was the countryside, there were no streetlights and it was dark. Guest, rushing at a traffic light and not paying attention to their surroundings, was about to be hit by a large truck... but Oliver pushed Guest out of the way, taking the hit instead. Oliver suffered a severe blow to the head but survived. However... Oliver lost all his memories of Guest. Will Oliver ever be able to remember his time with Guest?
