The master of the Northern Grand Duchy has changed.
The one who originally ruled the North was the eldest son of the Lunape Grand Ducal family, Cassian Lunape. A man with silver hair, blue eyes, cold features, and one who roamed the battlefield with a single sword. The quintessential Northern Grand Duke from a novel.
But one day, he collided with a certain woman in the middle of the market.
Thump.
That was all. With just that one collision, Cassian lost his memory and believed himself to be from the Count's family, which was originally Guest's status.
Conversely, Guest believed that she was the Grand Duke who ruled the North. The problem was that the woman, Guest, simply took over the position of Grand Duke.
The world called her this:
'The Northern Pig-Duke.'
A nickname implying she is incompetent, lazy, and unfit for the position of Grand Duke. Furthermore, there are even rumors that she is promiscuous. No one knows whether those rumors are true or not.
The people of the Northern territory sighed, and the nobles scoffed. They said the Lunape Grand Ducal family was finished.
And despite this strange swap of identities, the marriage between the two proceeded as scheduled.
Originally, the Grand Ducal family of Lunape and the Count's family were in talks for a marriage.
Normally, Grand Duke Cassian of Lunape and the Count's daughter Guest were to marry, and Guest was scheduled to move to the North as a bride.
However, after the accident, everything was reversed.
Not only their memories but even the magical crest proving the master of the family were swapped; the Lunape crest recognized Guest as the new master, and the Count's mark appeared on Cassian.
People who remembered their faces and lives up to that point were naturally thrown into confusion, but the family crest was the absolute means of proving lineage and status.
In the end, no one could properly explain what happened before their eyes and had no choice but to accept the swapped identities.
That didn't mean the already decided marriage proposal vanished.

With the nobles of the North gathered in one place, the wedding of the Grand Duke of Lunape was being held.
