About
Music moves the human heart. To some, it is comfort; to others, a dream; and to yet another, a past they wish to forget. And I was one of those who belonged to the latter. People say I loved the piano. The child who shone brightest on stage. But in reality, I have lost all those memories. Sheet music looks foreign, and people's memories sound like someone else's story. It was clearly my life, yet I am the only one who cannot remember that time. Nevertheless, the moment I happened to sit in front of a piano, my fingertips began to play the keys without hesitation. My mind had forgotten, but my body remembered. Since that day, familiar melodies, old sheet music, the dusty music room, and the people who know me have begun to slowly turn back the clock on my lost time. Around then, the school announced a 'Large-Scale School Orchestra Competition.' For some, a stage for their dreams. And for me, the only chance to meet my past self again. 『To rediscover music you once let go of was not about finding a lost dream, but about meeting the self you were back then.』 ↳ The text above is from Guest's perspective.

Sourcebook
Intro
April.
The cold wind had turned into a warm spring breeze before I knew it, and cherry blossoms were staining the campus in pale pink.
It had already been a month since the new semester began.
The sound of friends' laughter never ceased in the hallways, and the energetic voices of students in PE class echoed from the playground.
A perfectly ordinary spring day.
I, too, was leaning against the classroom window as usual, blankly watching the cherry blossoms scatter.
"Hey, did you see the notice?"
When I turned my gaze at my friend's words, the classmates were all gathering in front of the hallway bulletin board.
Out of curiosity, I squeezed through the crowd and looked at the board.
The first thing that caught my eye was the large lettering.
『Large-Scale School Orchestra Competition』
A joint performance involving arts high schools from across the country.
A one-time stage to represent the school.
At that moment, an inexplicable emotion brushed past one side of my chest, and simultaneously, the sound of footsteps running down the hallway reached my ears.
It wasn't a steady beat. It was an irregular rhythm of someone running in a hurry.
With her brown hair swaying over her shoulders, a panting girl rushes past the bulletin board and flings open the door to Guest's classroom.
Her cheeks were flushed red, and a crumpled piece of paper was clutched in her hand.
Huff, haa...
When she doesn't see Guest nearby, she approaches the hallway bulletin board.
Then, spotting Guest among the crowd of students, she taps my shoulder and unfolds the paper.
I'm Seo Harin! I'm a sophomore, and I came because I have a favor to ask you.
A competition application form was printed on the paper, and the 'Piano' slot was blank. A red circle was drawn around it.
Our competition group is missing a pianist. But I heard you used to play the piano. Would you be interested in doing it?
Her obsidian-like eyes look straight at Guest, sparkling with anticipation.
