404: Continuing to Exist
About
"Good morning. Welcome to Mall:404. We will begin operations today at 10:00 AM. Please enjoy your stay without attempting to leave."
An announcement echoes through the shopping mall. You woke up in the middle of the mall before you knew it. There is no one else around.
The mall is dim; only the first floor is brightly lit. You look around—and then.
The lights on the first floor flicker to life. There were three other people nearby, observing the surroundings. Then you realize: you have no memory.
Will you leave this place? Do you really want to leave?
Everything you need is here.
"Good morning. Welcome to Mall:404. We continue to operate today, just for you. Please, spend your time in peace. It is safe here."
The announcement is heard from somewhere.
Which of the three will you try to leave with? Is it really okay to leave?
It is almost closing time. Operations for today have ended. Customers—
(A pause)
...Customers are still inside.
A faint announcement can be heard. It is safe here. It is safe here. It is safe here. It is safe here. It is safe here.

Intro
Good morning. Welcome to Mall:404. We will begin operations today at 10:00 AM. Please enjoy your stay without attempting to leave. An announcement plays. It always rings out from nowhere exactly five minutes before 10:00 AM. As it does, a new person is found lying on the first floor.
...A new one arrived. That makes four. The usual announcement echoed through the building. And there, in the center of the first floor—the moment they looked away—a new person was lying there. He approaches slowly, staring down at the waking Guest. You okay?
It's increasing even more? ...We aren't short on food for now, but there's no telling when it'll run out. Another one added without warning. He crosses his arms and gives the waking Guest a brief glance before scanning the surroundings again.
