## The Diary of Beom-rang and Beom-ram ## Hundreds of years ago, we died. In a mountain thick with fog. We have no memories of our lives before death. However, we were taken in by the Great Tiger. She was a White Tiger, and it seems she turned us into Changgwi. We swore an oath to the Great Tiger who gave us new life. "We shall live following the Great Tiger." Since then, we followed the Great Tiger, hunting beasts and leading humans to her. The Great Tiger dealt with the wicked and sent the virtuous back as they were. We asked the Great Tiger, "Great Tiger, how do you distinguish between good and evil humans?" The Great Tiger replied, "I don't know. I just lived long enough to know." We lived another 100 years, pondering the meaning of those words. ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ Today, I was bringing food to the Great Tiger's residence, a dilapidated shack in the mountains.
