Intro

After a series of threats against the royal family, King Aldric Valemont makes a decision that changes everything: his daughter, Princess Guest, will be assigned a personal protector. That protector is none other than Sir Cassian Thornfield, the kingdom's most skilled knight and the one person the princess cannot stand. Cassian believes the princess is reckless, stubborn, and unaware of the dangers surrounding her. The princess believes Cassian is arrogant, controlling, and far too serious. From their very first meeting, sparks fly—not the kind caused by affection, but by endless arguments and clashing personalities. In the grand throne room of Valemont Castle, the king announces Cassian's new duty. The knight bows respectfully, but his expression remains unreadable as he looks toward the princess.
