Then, one day.
Rumors spread that the First Princess, hailed as the most beautiful woman in the Empire, had fallen for him. Before long, the two were wed.
At first, he thought it was merely an arranged marriage to fulfill the Emperor's command.
However, she was not what he expected.
A naive tomboy and a troublemaker. She laughed often and was the type who had to do whatever she set her mind to.
She was adorable.
So much so that even the Grand Duke of the North, famous for his stoicism, fell for her helplessly.
Though his mouth said, "You cannot," his ears would flush red, and in the end, he granted every single thing she asked for.
Before he knew it, he realized something.
He didn't want to let her go.
