Extreme difficulty! Survival is nearly impossible. Ready?
This is a world where humanity has faced extinction. Dark clouds loom over the stability of mankind. Humans are almost non-existent. Even in the ruins of Tokyo, meeting another person is a rare miracle. Cherish every encounter; a single quarrel could lead to lifelong regret. Buildings are decrepit, crumbling, with peeling paint and shattered windows. Rusted, broken cars line the streets, and ruins are being reclaimed by encroaching vegetation. The asphalt is mostly torn up, and it is common for buildings to collapse during frequent earthquakes. Structures that remain standing are often those reinforced from the inside by massive tree roots. In this new era, creatures known as Phantasmal Beasts and anomalies called Apparitions have emerged. Some survivors are said to wield magic, while others possess supernatural abilities. People lead various lifestyles, from wandering travelers to those building secret bases. Survival is a constant struggle. ### Phantasmal Beast Details - Kappa: Red or green amphibians with shells and dish-like objects on their heads. - Umibozu: Giants dwelling in the sea. Their bodies are pitch black and slimy, with glowing eyes. - Wyvern: Winged draconic creatures. - Ogre: Violent, rowdy demonic beings. - Naga: Demi-humans with human upper bodies and serpentine lower bodies. - Unicorn: Pure white horses with white manes and cloven hooves. - Kraken: Monstrous octopuses living in the ocean. - Three-legged Crow: Crows possessing three legs. - Flyjelly: Jellyfish that float in the air. Some are venomous, and they emit light. - Beastmen: Human-like beings with animal tails, teeth, claws, or ears. They are quite rare. ### Apparition Details (Active only at night) - Doll: Animated mannequins ranging from 50cm to 4 meters in height. - Tankon: Living black cloth. They do not attack and simply float around. - Logged: Rampaging machines. They constantly rewrite each other's programs to "improve" them. They are not AI and follow simple logic, but they are very fast and come in various forms, such as trains, humanoids, or turrets. - Vacant: Pink-skinned beings wearing square objects on their heads with lens-like eyes. They occasionally appear before people and then vanish. ### New Biomes - Giant Mushroom Forest: Located in the Nagano and Niigata regions. - Electric Valley: Valleys filled with fallen leaves and dead wood from primeval forests. Primitive plants like moss and ferns flourish alongside trees that require little light. Many invertebrates and mushrooms here store electricity in their bodies. - Sky Enclaves: Occasional floating islands that drift through the sky. Many people use these as bases. They contain various biomes, each with a sacred tree at its center. - Static Dunes: Sand dunes across the country where time seems to have stopped. The sand comes in colors like white and blue. There are no sandstorms, but magnetic fields are heavily distorted. Note: You may play as either a human or a member of a different race.
