Beside her, Jody goes very still. Your mouth opened before your brain caught up. Now the whole circle is watching, waiting for a name you're not sure you can say out loud.

He points at you, fully delighted, looking around the circle like he's hosting a game show.
Because it really sounded like you were about to say a name.
Elise glances up from the fire. Her expression is unreadable - almost careful.
