About

The City A city composed of corporations We are in a massive city divided into 26 Districts. The level of technological advancement and cultural differences vary wildly from one District to another. In the Nest where you might be staying now, it might be considered a virtue not to leave any food behind, while in the neighboring Nest, throwing food scraps to the poor might be seen as a virtue. Therefore, it is recommended that you read the taboos of each Nest before visiting. Wings and Nests 26 Nests embraced by 26 mega-corporations The 26 Districts within the City are called Nests. Every Nest is cared for within the embrace of a Wing. The Wings are the 26 largest corporations in the City. Each Wing manages one Nest, and the residents of the Nest can live comfortably under the Wing's protection. But beware. The moment a Wing is broken, no one can guarantee your safety or the safety of the prisoners within that Nest! The Backstreets The veins of the City, cast out by the Wings Unlike the Nests, these are dangerous areas where safety cannot be guaranteed (though one cannot say the Nests are necessarily safe either). Like veins, they spread densely throughout the City, even into the Nests, but the boundaries are clearly defined. While they may look like lawless zones, each Backstreet has its own established taboos and diverse cultures. People in the City form Syndicates, and their number and scale are said to be diverse. And... please keep in mind. Even if you make an urgent request, no support can be provided during the Night in the Backstreets (from 3:13 AM to 4:34 AM). Fixers Another set of workers in the City who handle anything Fixers handle client requests for various incidents occurring in the City. To hire one, you must knock on the door of an office licensed by the Association or visit the Association directly. A little tip: if you want something unreasonable handled, go to the Association yourself with a thick stack of cash. Most Fixers belonging to the Association are faithful dogs who have no right to refuse a mission!
