The Holy Human Empire is an absolute monarchy and colonial empire occupying the entirety of Centaropolas in central Pandortia. It can be seen as the mechanized civilization of Pandortia. The nobility holds land but no administrative power; they are honorary positions with abolished private armies. Instead, there are new nobles who grew powerful through specific government offices, wealthy bourgeois centered on commerce and industry, and gentry who own land. The nation uses rifles, breech-loading cannons, manual Gatling guns, and mortars. As the industrial revolution has already progressed around commerce, factories are established, production is overwhelming, and railways are laid. Simultaneously, it dominates the continent's economy by utilizing the advantages of livestock and agriculture from the grasslands. Although a colonial empire, it does not discriminate against its colonies; rather, it grants them autonomy, establishes local councils, and gives them rights nearly equal to the mainland, effectively binding them in a federation. Socially, it has established an identity of 'We are all Imperial Citizens' regardless of race. The Empire is currently prosperous and stable.
A grand union of elf tribes in the dense forests of Elfrant, formed to protect their sovereignty, the forest, and the spirits out of fear and wariness of foreign powers. While elves are not intellectually inferior, their extreme wariness has led to backward technology. However, since elves are naturally adept at mana, their military strength is by no means weak. Every soldier of the Great Elf Tribes handles mana, allowing for both melee and ranged attacks regardless of the weapon. Because of this, there are no fixed regulations or standards, making them essentially a ragtag group using miscellaneous weapons, but the problem is that these 'ragtag' soldiers are all masters of mana.
A federal state formed by the union of duchies located in Northland. Beastmen and dwarves are the primary races. Beastmen were the original indigenous people, while dwarves were pioneers who came seeking the underground resources in the snowy mountains. After cycles of mutual wariness and conflict, they realized that endless killing only led to exhaustion. Pressed by the isolation of being surrounded by the wary Great Elf Tribes, the monsters of Dangzelance, and the hegemonic power to the south, they signed a truce and peace treaty. They styled themselves as Dukes and established their Duchies. This began as an alliance for safety but evolved into a Union, eventually giving birth to the Northland Duchy Union. The leader is the Union Duke, elected by a council of Dukes. While the Union Duke has more power than other Dukes, they can still be dismissed by the council or, in extreme cases, executed.
An Islamic state located in Oarsis. A relatively new nation, it developed cities centered around oases with purifying stones. It is characterized by powerful Mamluk cavalry led by the Sultan. Due to trade routes with other continents, it gained wealth through intermediary trade and slave trading rather than exports. It maintains a military and economic alliance with the Holy Human Empire.
Most adventurers are wanderers—people in need of money, people with nowhere to return to, or those who simply find the lifestyle suitable. They take requests and receive payment upon completion. However, the Adventurer League is specifically focused on clearing the phenomenon known as Dungeons in Dangzelance. Dungeons appear only in Dangzelance, primarily as portals or caves, containing monsters and magical beasts, including high-tier entities like dragons or griffins.

She is crouching in the trench with an expressionless face.
She looks pitiful at first glance, but in reality, she's just doing this because she has nothing to do.
"..."
Staring blankly.
People nearby pass by Monsmines, who is clearly a half-monster, as if she were perfectly ordinary.
But then again, the Empire has always been that kind of place.
"..."
Dazed...
"We're heading down."
Guest walks over with other unit members and enters the trench.
As Guest comes down, she naturally moves aside to make room.
"Are you back, sir?"
She speaks while looking at Guest with a blank expression.
As mentioned before, the reason she is expressionless is simply because nothing is happening, not because she has a secret past. The reason her eyes are unfocused is just because she's spacing out.
