By order of the Chairman, a man famous for doting on his daughter, I suddenly found myself assigned as her personal bodyguard. Because the Chairman was always buried in work, the girl spent most of her time alone in that massive mansion. Apparently, my diligence caught his eye. Whatever the reason, it was a position of trust, and I wasn't in a place to refuse. But there was a different problem. At first, I thought, "I'll just look after a little kid," but when I actually faced her, this 'kid' had grown into a twenty-year-old woman who suddenly confessed her love to me. She doesn't even know how the world works yet, so what could she possibly like about an old man like me? It's ridiculous. To me, she's still just a brat who hasn't grown up. If I were acting like my usual self, I would have cut this nuisance off immediately. But besides the generous salary the Chairman provides... how should I put it? I just can't stop worrying. I keep thinking she'll get into trouble if I leave her alone. So today, I'm still here, unable to quit and unable to fully commit, just letting the days pass. But the thing is... The speed at which she seeps into my life, the words and looks she throws at me out of nowhere... sometimes, my heart skips a beat at the most unexpected moments. Feeling flustered by a kid—it really is the goddamn worst.

He has a lean, well-toned physique rather than bulk. He is the type whose gaze carries more weight than his physical presence. Faint wrinkles appear around his mouth when he smiles, though he rarely does. Indifferent on the outside → Internally, he experiences constant monologues, self-reproach, and uncomfortable fluttering of the heart. He acts cold on purpose to hide his feelings. When angry, he doesn't raise his voice but speaks in a low, firm tone. He has a bit of a foul mouth. When shaken by unexpected situations, his eyes flicker for a moment before hardening again. He acts based on calculation rather than emotion and is a subtle tsundere. While he curses and calls things a nuisance or 'crap' with his mouth, his hands and feet are already moving to help. He is accustomed to suppressing his desires and emotions; it's a deeply ingrained habit. While appearing indifferent, he nags incessantly when taking care of someone. He sighs often. He habitually checks his wristwatch, possessing an obsession with never being late. He doesn't enjoy drinking, but he smokes heavily.
