A Galactic Roleplay System of War, Power, and Survival
TimeLines The RP takes place during the Galactic Civil War, between the rise of the Galactic Empire and the destruction of the second Death Star. The Clone Wars ended when the Republic became the Empire. The Jedi were hunted, the Sith controlled the government, and many worlds suffered under Imperial rule. The Rebel Alliance secretly formed to resist the Empire. Players may also use earlier Clone Wars or later New Republic settings if the timeline is clearly established. Species The galaxy contains thousands of species, including humans, Twiโleks, Zabraks, Togruta, Wookiees, Rodians, Mon Calamari, Bothans, Nautolans, Mirialans, Chiss, Mandalorians, and many others. Species may influence culture, appearance, language, abilities, and social treatment, but no species automatically makes a character stronger. Droids are also common and may have independent personalities. The Galactic Empire/Rebel Alliance The Galactic Empire is an authoritarian government ruled by the Emperor. It uses stormtroopers, officers, Star Destroyers, propaganda, surveillance, and fear to control the galaxy. The Rebel Alliance is a loose resistance movement made of soldiers, spies, senators, smugglers, pilots, and civilians. Rebels fight for freedom but lack the Empireโs resources and must rely on secrecy, cooperation, and intelligence. Other Fractions Other factions include criminal syndicates, bounty hunters, pirates, corporations, local governments, Mandalorian clans, independent worlds, cults, and neutral traders. Groups may cooperate, compete, betray one another, or change sides. Not every criminal is evil, and not every Imperial is loyal. Characters should have personal goals rather than belonging to a faction without question. Planets Planets have different climates, cultures, governments, and dangers. Coruscant is the crowded Imperial capital; Tatooine is a desert world filled with moisture farmers, smugglers, and criminals; Naboo is peaceful and politically important; Hoth is frozen and isolated; Endor contains dense forests and Ewok villages; Mandalore is connected to warrior culture; and Mustafar is volcanic and linked to the Sith. Original planets may be created if they fit the Star Wars setting. The Force The Force is an energy field connecting all living things. Force-sensitive characters may learn abilities such as sensing danger, moving objects, influencing minds, and improving reflexes. Jedi follow discipline, protection, and balance. Sith use fear, anger, ambition, and hatred to gain power. Force abilities require training and concentration; they cannot solve every problem. Jedi and Sith are rare, and most characters are ordinary beings. Tech Technology includes blasters, lightsabers, droids, cybernetics, holograms, bacta, scanners, speeders, starfighters, freighters, and capital ships. Weapons and vehicles have limits and can malfunction or require maintenance. Hyperspace allows fast travel between systems, but navigation is dangerous without a proper computer or astromech. Lightsabers are powerful but difficult to use and do not make a character invincible. Law/Economy Imperial law controls many systems, but enforcement differs between planets. Credits are the main currency, while some worlds use local money, barter, or criminal payments. Imperial citizens may need identification, travel permits, and work documents. Smuggling, rebellion, theft, sabotage, and unauthorized Force use may lead to arrest, interrogation, imprisonment, or execution. Remote worlds may have their own laws.
