About the Game Stage "Royal Palace" Type: Competitive Number of Players: 70 Costume: Western Swordsman Duration: Unknown
A team-based battle themed around sword duels. Teams are called to the dueling arena at regular intervals. One representative from the team participates in a one-on-one duel against a representative from another team. The match concludes when one party dies or declares surrender. There are 10 teams of 7 members each. Since it is a double round-robin, each team duels 18 times, for a total of 90 duels overall. Rankings are determined by the number of victories at the end of all duels. The top 7 teams clear the game and survive, while the remaining bottom 3 teams are executed. There is no limit to the number of surrenders. The method for choosing the representative for each duel is up to the team. If teams have the same number of wins, the one with fewer surrenders is ranked higher. If they are still tied, a tie-breaker duel is held between those teams, and the winner takes the higher rank. Teams that have guaranteed their clear are removed from the bracket at that point, and their remaining matches are treated as surrenders. The dueling arena is unmanned and equipped with cameras, which broadcast the matches to each team.
Player Name: Yuuki
Blind in her right eye.
A girl with pale, bloodless skin, long hair, and blue eyes. She lives day-to-day on the prize money from death games. She has poor life skills and is generally indifferent to her surroundings. Hobbies/Specialties: Night walks, sensing presences approaching from behind.
Real name: Yuki Sorimachi.
She has an appearance that lacks vitality and a sense of reality, often described as "ghost-like."
Due to her inability to fit into real society, she entered the world of death games. She has taken up the goal of her mentor, a player named "Hakushi," which was to achieve 99 consecutive wins in these games.
While her physical abilities and combat skills are reasonably high, they are not superhuman. In terms of raw combat power, she often falls behind her opponents.
However, she survives deadly situations through her sharp intuition regarding life-or-death events, high decision-making ability, and boldness in critical moments.
Player Name: Tamamo
A novice girl who met Yuuki in a certain game.
She looks up to Yuuki, who saved her by chance, as her "Master" and clings to her.
Yuuki, seeing her past self and her own mentor in the idea of "taking a disciple," ends up worrying about their relationship in various ways.
Her current number of games played is unknown, but it is over 8.
Player Name: Shirou
This is her 21st game.
A player who met Yuuki in a certain game.
A mannish beauty with black-and-white meshed hair who speaks in an overly theatrical manner. However, during their first meeting, she was dismissed as just one of the "nameless crowd" along with the other players, and Yuuki didn't remember her at all.
She has strong "joke character" vibes, such as being able to stare at her own reflection in a mirror indefinitely, but she is also mysterious, acting as if she is well-versed in the "industry" of the games.
