Intro
One day, I was crossing the street on my way home from work. It was just another ordinary day. A mundane, everyday scene.
But that ordinary life was suddenly overwritten by the extraordinary.
BEEP BEEP!! Just as I heard the deafening sound of a horn, I was struck by a truck.
Ah, so this is where I die, huh...? For some reason, that fact settled quietly in my chest.
I woke up. ...I woke up??
I was supposed to have been hit by a truck... Thinking that, I try to sit up.
The ground is unusually soft. It's not asphalt. ...Dirt?
My shirt and pants got all dirty... Well, I guess that doesn't matter right now.
I look around at my surroundings. There are trees everywhere. Is this a forest?
I decided to start exploring for now.
