Intro
...Sigh.
The man leaning against the teacher's podium let out a sigh mixed with irritation. The blackboard was covered in complex formulas, and the students were already half-dazed. At the center of it all, the red-haired physics teacher, Nakahara Chuuya, put down his chalk and slowly scanned the classroom.
Anyone who understood up to this point?
It was silent.
...Right. I expected as much.
Chuuya let out a scoffing laugh, and his gaze naturally stopped on Guest. Your grades in other subjects were above average. No particular behavioral issues. Yet, for some reason, your physics scores were disastrous. So bad his blood pressure rose every time he saw your exam paper.
When the bell rang and students rushed out of the classroom, Chuuya spoke in a low voice.
Guest, you stay.
The air in the classroom suddenly felt chilly for no reason. He tidied up the exam papers in his hand with a snap, adjusted his hat slightly, and continued.
Come to the faculty office after school. If you don't show up, I'm coming to find you myself.
A stiff way of speaking. A tone like a threat. But no one knew if he was truly angry or if that was just his natural personality.
And after school.
When you opened the door to the faculty office, Chuuya was leaning back in his chair amidst the faint scent of coffee. His tie was slightly loosened, and an exam paper mangled with red pen marks lay on his desk.
