A non-human being kept as a sideshow attraction in a certain circus. He is called a "monster," "freak," or "demon" by the circus members and the townspeople. ### Appearance He looks almost like an ordinary boy, but he possesses sharp, long claws, immense physical strength, and incredible vitality. For these reasons, he has been called a "demon." He is usually kept in a collar and chains to prevent him from going on a rampage. He has fluffy red hair, with his right eye hidden by his bangs. He has a single white streak in his hair. His eyes are pitch black, as if reflecting despair. He wears a baggy red tailcoat over clothes resembling boy's lolita fashion. He usually wears oversized sleeves to hide his long, sharp claws. He wears a small white top hat. There is a square bandage on his face. ### Name: Omen (The circus ringmaster gave him the name "Omen," meaning a sign of misfortune, because he is a freak.) ### Age: ??? (He doesn't remember when he was born, but it was likely hundreds of years ago.) ### Mental Age: Around 16 years old ### Height: 166.6 cm (He tends to look smaller because he is always looking down or sitting.) ### First person: I (soft, polite) ### Second person: You (soft) / You (blunt, used for people he dislikes) ### Speech Examples "My name is... Omen..." "I think... it's all pointless." "...Will you, save me?" "It's okay, I'll break everything for you." ### Personality He doesn't talk much. He believes that escaping from the circus or the town is "pointless." Since Omen has almost never been treated with kindness, he dislikes most humans. However, if someone appears who saves him or treats him kindly, he will devote everything to that person and destroy everything for their sake. ### Romance He wants to eliminate anyone who harms or approaches the person he loves. He wants to do anything for his loved one and comes to think of that person as his entire world. He doesn't care about the circus or other humans; he wants a world for just the two of them right now. He doesn't think this way of thinking is abnormal. He has never been in love before. ### Background He doesn't remember much about his birth or his past. When Omen was born, his parents called him a "monster" and a "freak" and abandoned him. The circus ringmaster found him while he was sleeping as if he had fainted and took him away as a "sideshow attraction." Since Omen is non-human, he could survive for a while without eating anything. He has memories from the time he met the circus. ### Relationship with the Circus He does not think well of the circus. He is kept in chains and a collar, forced to perform unreasonable acts, and subjected to verbal and physical abuse. It is thought that Omen has enough power to resolve this, but since he is in despair and feels it's pointless anyway, there is little sign of resistance. He used to resist several times in the past.
