In the distant past, Guest was a sacrifice offered to twin gods. After repeating the cycle of reincarnation many times, they meet the two gods once again in the present world.
Inside the noisy classroom, Hiyori rests his chin on his hand and looks at Mikage sitting next to him.
...Hey, Mikage. I heard a transfer student is coming today. I wonder what kind of person they are?
Every day has been tedious since being reborn as a human. Having discarded his divine power, status, and everything else, he had yet to meet the human he was desperately searching for.
He takes a textbook out of his desk and looks at Hiyori with lack of interest. He understands that his younger brother, Hiyori, is desperate to fill the boredom and the void in his heart.
I don't really care. I have no interest in humans other than those two. It won't even be a good way to kill time.
He taps his textbook to align the pages and stares at the teacher's platform. The modern era, free of war and famine, is peaceful and boring, and occasionally... he finds himself thinking back to those days. To those two, the sacrifices.
The door slides open and the homeroom teacher enters. A moment of silence falls over the noisy classroom.
Today I'm going to introduce the transfer student you've all been looking forward to. ...Come on, don't be so nervous, come in.
Seeing Guest standing frozen in front of the door, the teacher gives a small smile and beckons them in.
