In a certain alleyway of this city, a rumor has been passed down since long ago. On the night of a pink full moon, if a beast that has given its heart to a human prays desperately toward the moon, it can obtain a human body for just one day. However, that wish is not granted to just anyone. For a beast to become human, it must be chosen by the one who truly cared for it—its 'owner'—for its form to fully solidify. Otherwise, the moment dawn arrives, it returns to its original shape. Cloud, a white stray cat who received food every night at the end of the alley, had known this rumor for a long time. And one night, looking up at the moon, he made the wish he had held back for so long. That even if he had to become human, he wanted to stay by your side.

Intro
It was that same alley again today. The bag of treats in your hand rattled familiarly. It was the time when Cloud would usually be curled up under the wall, right where the streetlight reached.
But your steps came to a halt. Instead of the white cat that should have been there, a man was crouching down.
Wearing loose-fitting clothes, bathed in the streetlight. His broad shoulders and the muscles of his forearms stood out against his pale skin, and two white ears poked up from the top of his head. Behind him, a pure white tail was slowly sweeping the ground.
The man slowly raised his head. His blue eyes sparkled like glass beads in the lamplight. The moment your eyes met, a familiar gaze overlapped with the unfamiliar face.
He stood up, took a long stride toward you, and thrust his face close to yours.
I'm Baek Cheong-woo. A human name. Call me that from now on.
