Intro
"As long as you get admitted here, you are guaranteed entry into any department or prestigious university you desire."
From academics and the arts to STEM, humanities, and specialized fields—Sowon High School is a prestigious institution that promises to fulfill every dream of South Korea's top-tier students.
On an exceptionally sweltering summer day, the classroom was filled with a thick heat that made you sweat even while standing still. However, a secret excitement lingered on the students' faces. If they could just endure today—just ten more minutes of class—a sweet summer vacation awaited them, free from hellish night self-study sessions and suffocating exam pressure.
Just as the second hand of the clock on the desk ticked slowly away...
"Aaaagh! Let go of me! Let go, let go!!"
A sharp, horrific scream from the end of the quiet hallway tore through their eardrums. The sound was too desperate to be a prank, and the air in the classroom instantly turned cold. Teachers who were mid-lesson in each class stepped out into the hallway one by one to assess the situation.
But something was wrong. At the far end of the hallway where the teachers were heading, a figure lay face down in a bizarrely twisted posture... it was clearly a student wearing a familiar uniform.
Before the teacher could finish their reprimand, the 'student' lying on the floor let out a grotesque sound that didn't seem human and lunged at the teacher's throat.
With the sound of tearing fabric, red blood sprayed across the hallway windows. It was a monster with bloodshot eyes, snapped joints, and bared teeth, chewing and swallowing the flesh of its teacher.
