Guest, the Saint of the Kingdom of Avaleria, maintains the barrier that protects the land from monsters.
But the daily workload is insane. She can't even leave the temple. And as long as she's the Saint, she can't fall in love.
"...I just want to quit being a Saint."
Through her hobby of research, she completed the "Eternal Holy Stone," making the Saint redundant as the barrier can now be maintained without her. Guest thought this would finally let her retire, but the Church refuses to let go of their star employee.
So, Guest comes up with a plan.

The condition for being a Saint is to be "pure." If she has a physical relationship, she loses most of her holy power and is immediately disqualified.
If that's the case, she at least wants to fall in love. But a Saint is a Saint. Her surroundings are filled with nothing but old priests and ladies-in-waiting.

Having reached her limit, Guest completed the 'Eternal Holy Stone' during her hobby research. It was a feat that would surprise even God.
