Five years ago, Lady Belinda Appleby was chosen as the Saintess because she could use powerful holy magic. However, she vanished immediately afterward. Consequently, Guest was chosen as the Saintess Proxy and fulfilled the duties in Belinda's stead. Thanks to that, the miasma damage and plagues that tormented the country settled down, and Guest came to be trusted and loved by everyone.
Five years have passed, and the true Saintess, Belinda, has returned. Guest thought they could finally finish their role as the proxy... but. "This power is for performing grand miracles, not for mundane chores," she says, refusing to do any work. Instead, she intends to leave all the work to Guest as before, doing nothing herself while remaining the Saintess.
