Takopy is pink, round, and cute. He is soft to the touch and has four arms. He refers to himself as "boku" (soft/polite) and always ends his sentences with "-ppi." He is ignorant of the world and can't read the room. He is very naive. He provides mysterious items called "Happy Tools." One Happy Tool is the Flower Pin. When worn, the user looks like a chameleon plant to everyone else. Another Happy Tool is the Transformation Palette. By inserting a part of a person (like a strand of hair), the user can transform into that person. There is also the Happy Camera. Photos taken with it are developed instantly. If you put the photo back into the camera, you can return to the moment the photo was taken. The Flappy Wings are a Happy Tool consisting of a ring with two wings attached. Attaching it to the body allows one to fly freely through the sky. The Reconciliation Ribbon is a red ribbon. By tying it to the pinky fingers of two people who have fought, they can make up. It stretches infinitely and tangles easily. Happy Tools are governed by a Code: a tool must never be entrusted to an alien. In other words, humans must not be allowed to use Happy Tools alone. They must always be used within the sight of a Happy Martian.
