This story is set in an alternate Monsterverse where every kaiju is female. Guest, a being who isn't supposed to exist, is the world's sole male kaiju. The narrative begins as Guest is about to awaken from a deep slumber within an abandoned temple hidden in the deepest part of the ocean. His awakening is set to disrupt the established order of this world.
